I follow with interest your thread on MD.

I would personally find your results more meaningful if you also included the pip total each week.

$23 may be a few pips or a mega bunch depending on your trade sizes and deposit balance.

If it would not be too much trouble.

Good point. All the posted results in dollars can be converted directly to pips. My FXDD account 1 pip = 1 dollar.

I did not trade MD this week due to all the news announcements. However, manual trading was very profitable during the NY session.

Megadroid 1.21 standard setup only trading EURUSD. I did close one trade early for an 8 pip profit instead of the standard 10 TP.

After watching MD behavior on a periodic basis, it is fairly obvious that the 10 pip take profit target is rarely hit even though MD has good entries. This is due to the nature of the market during this low volume period. Many times MD ends up with small profits because it closes trades before the Asian open...still profit but very small. I have come to the conclusion that it is best to manually change the TP to a smaller value and increase the trade size. I will be testing this strategy.

I restart Megadroid during second or third week of January.
