LoL yea I had a series of winning trades and then one major loss which practically ate up all my profits so Im back to square one.

Experienced a loss this week. The loss was significant compared to the recent profits. Megadroid shorted two trades on Thursday. One trade closed at a profit of $34. The second trade closed at stop loss with $230 loss shortly before the London open.

I had gotten out of bed sometime between midnight and 1:00 AM EST to look at the trade. The second trade had retraced and was at breakeven. I was tempted to close it but decided (against my better judgement) to let it run and see what happens. When I woke up the next morning I saw what happened. Boy ... I was pissed. Kinda reminds me of my FAPTurbo experience.

I will be changing my strategy with this EA. Losing trades will be closed manually before the London open if the EUR is trending opposite to the trade placed by Megadroid. This only makes sense. There is no reason for Megadroid to hold a trade against the trend for a long perod of time. If I will not be home during this period the EA will off.

I have decided to terminate my 60 day trial period and get a refund for megadroid.

I sent two emails to support asking them why the EA did not close the loss trade before the London Open when it was close to break even. Both times I received a reply from their standard talking points that did not answer my question.

The large loss is unacceptable to me. The response from support is inadequate. I have lost confidence in this EA even though I have made a small amount of profit during the 60 days.

I will be restarting my Megadroid live account with new settings. After trying various EAs I have come to the conclusion that MD is probably one of the better EAs in its price range.

Since it does not trade often and trades only between the NY close and Asian open, the challenge will be to minimize the effect of any large loss.

I have decided to give MD another try. It's been running for 2 weeks.

MD trades EURUSD between the NY close and Asian open. Consequently there are not many trades. However, I discovered a new system called ADT that increases the frequency of MD trades.

The results are posted below. The single loss was recouped the following day by ADT. Out of the 17 trades, only 2 were done by the original MD. 15 trades were a result of the ADT system.

This week was completely shot. My father passed away. I had to leave town so I shut down all forex trading for the week and attended to family matters. Remember ... there will always be another day to trade.

I will restart on August 16th.

Another good week. I did close one trade prematurely on Thursday night just short of the TP. All trades were opened by the ADT strategy. Generic Megadroid setup did not trade probably due to the volatility this week in the equity markets.
