Any chances for resaults of using system for example of one month period ?
Are you asking me to produce all results for all time frames on all currency pairs for a one month period?
Jeez

I have included many images of successful setups and trades.
They are typical of what is possible.

If you want more then you are free to produce as many examples as you choose.- A little help would be greatly appreciated.

In the first post I suggested that traders experiment and post their findings. So far feedback has been very little. This is disappointing.

The system is not perfect. With more interaction between users it may be greatly improved. It is already one of the better systems and that includes the high priced commercial systems. Look back over the charts. You can see what setups would have given good results. The Egwig arrows do not repaint. All setups are exactly as they were in real time. Only the signals indicator setups are changed and not available to view later. Everything else is there for you to see. You can set any pair on any time frame and see what setups gave good results. You can compare one currency pair to another. You can compare one time frame to another. You can alter the settings on the indicators to see how this may give better confirmations.
Not all systems give you these opportunities.

This kind of experimentation and reporting back is what I was hoping for in return for offering the system free to the community. So far no improvements have been suggested.

It is up to you guys and gals. Together we could make this one of the most powerfully successful systems ever.
Don't just take and ask for more.

Is it posible for you to add an (SMS) alert to the v1 hour and 4 hour signals ?

Thank You, and your hard work is much appreciated. You are giving back.

Hi TC
Unfortunately my programming skills are limited to using 1980s BASIC.
and I am no longer in touch with my pet programmer.

However, any MA crossover type indicator set to 55/1 period with an alert would give a rough approximate guide.

But it would not show the state of all the other indicators and they are integral to the system as they show what is happening in higher TimeFrames.

The Egwig alerts simply prompt you to look at ALL the signals to see if a trade is feasible.

The alerts on their own are not enough.

Thanks Egwig for the system - I have it on the hour charts on the 4 majors. Can you tell me roughly how many trades you get a week on each pair please.

I will run it also on the euro 15 mins, to get a feel for the signals. Going to trade it on a small live account.

Will report back how i get on and post a few charts.

Regards,

Paul

Decided NOT to go live and try a few more pairs. Took my first trade hit SL

See screen shot - price had been bouncing off support so I set a order just below and a stop on the first entry arrow.

Right onto the next one

Hi Padman

Thanks for your interest.

When I first put EgStrat on the net I was hoping that several of us could work together on its development.

However, in spite of over 150 downloads not one person has taken up my request.

As you can imagine things have developed as I have continued to experiment with various pairs, indicator-settings and time frames.

I now find that the 30M TF on EURUSD and GBPUSD using a modified template is having better success.

In regard to the pair and TF you were trading consider these points.

1. As you observed, the support was strong just 25 pips below your short entry.
A target of 20 pips would have been advisable as the price would quite probably bounce again.

2. Using the latest template would show that all three indicators were in an uptrend where the old one shows down.

PM me for the 30M template if you would like to try it out.

It is not carved in stone.
It is an ongoing development.
I would be happy for you to be a part of it.

Again, welcome.

Egwig
