I had the most success with the Daily AshFX.

I wonder why this thread is dead. I decided to stick with the original indicators and taking taking trades with 2 lots, first takeprofit at 100pips and allowing the second lot to run after moving its sl to entry price. So far,its been working like a charm over 80% win rate!

Hi Zilosxp,
Over what period of time have you been using this and achieving 80%? Also what R / R ratio are you achieving? I haven't been here for ages, where are the original indicators you mention?

All I can say is that I am glad I subscribed to this email thread.....awhile ago
I forgot about this method based on what I now know and use .....this simple system may indeed be very profitable.

I just placed a trade on a 5 minute chart using Ash 2 with some other stuff I know about ....Instant 30 pips

Hello all,

I gave the ashfx system a backtest on my trading platform. Here are the results..

CAR 0.68
DVR -0.07
SR -0.11
R2 0.61
MaxDD [24/05/2000] % -10.43
Years# 12.6

Its on the euro/usd pair. I am still in the process of configuring my database so haven't tested in a bunch of majors.

I like this system, it works well as long as the currency pair is trending, up or down. Ranging can bite you. Some serious pips can be made when you're moving in the right direction. I use the daily time frame.

The question I have is:

What do you do when things do not go your way. Say you enter a position and it goes against you from the beginning, completely. The large stops can lead to large losses if you stay all in hoping for a turnaround.

Sometimes with the large stops if you stay in the PSAR or AO change direction or color, and you're 100+ pips or more in the hole. What's next?

Get out completely?

Scale out?

Stay in until your stop is hit?

Other?

Thoughts anyone?

My inquiry is that I am using iPad , how can I emplement the indecators and other utilities on the iPad?
I have to say that I am a beginner.
