Hey there, I understand your frustration. It is a bit overwhelming at first as you jump into these forums and see threads with thousands of posts to read to feel like you've been caught up to speed.
I agree with the last poster who suggested you start with the BabyPips (
www.babypips.com) School course, that's a great place to start...you can find it here:
http://www.babypips.com/school/
There is no rush...and it's better to start slow than to want to get on line with trading right away. After about 5 months of Forex trading, I have done 90% demo trading and 10% live trading. I blew 2 live accounts and now I know it's best to go slow before jumping in again with real money.
If you don't want to read the whole thread, just read the first post by Ash with his rules and the template...that's all you need. After all these years, people are still reading the AshFX system the same way as it was intended to be read from day one. The thing that will change over time is your knowledge as a trader, to be able to apply everything you will learn on your journey to each system you will be introduced to. The good traders can look at a system and trade it better than novice traders, because they are incorporating their trading skills that will work with any system.
Start with the BabyPips School course...it will take about a week to read it all slowly and thoroughly. Then you'll be ready to demo trade a system, like the AshFX system. Then a month later, you read the BabyPips School course again and it will make more sense and you'll see things differently and it will help you to get stronger.
One little suggestion: I could be wrong about this, but I think it's better to "demo trade" with a micro live account than to trade with a demo. It seems to be the case every time that once you go from demo trading to live, it is very different. Not just the emotion of trading real money, but the way brokers treat your orders when it's live.
Best Regards,
Neo
