Forex Trading is no chance at all like a game of poker!!!

You have to put to use a lot of technical tools in order to b successful, whereas in poker its just to hide your sentiments & read others' sentiments.(who are physically sitting in front of u)

in forex , its a global market! i can't go to read every one's face/reaction, sir!!

forex is analytical, not a chance or betting game (at least not for people like me who put in their hard-earned money).

the co-relation could be used as a basis of explanation of forex trading & a game of poker but in real terms...its way apart!

Good Poker player needs very good short time memory, trading does not. If you know Go game and KNOW trading, they're most related games.

poker vs trading is very complicated stuff...i mean trading is nothing like a casino and to compare it to those types of games our minds typically jump to the gambling aspect...but you can use risk reward concept to both...good poker players know how to fold, they don't chase...and good traders cut losers quickly, not like amatuers that chase the markets all the time!

i do have to say that I do enjoy playing poker in my spare time though guilty...
