Guys I'm thinking of opening a thread for Forex Growth Bot. This ea has been a staple in my portfolio for quite some time and is consistently profitable.

I think I will put some stats together and start a thread for that one.

I notice we have quite a few "lurkers" around here. I would love to hear from you guys. What do you want to talk about? Do you have any results to share or experience with different ea's?

Don't be shy we love to hear from you

Hello John,
I've been looking at this one on Forex Peace Army's site for a couple of weeks now. It's performing really well, albeit on a demo account, makes only sell trades. What do you think of the sell only strategy?
The makers of the EA don't offer refunds or a free trial and it's quite expensive to buy.
I came across short seller ea. It looks to be a grid trader. I have had mixed results with grid traders. In the end I think grids are better traded by large accounts and small lot size so that you don't blo your account.

I used to run crescendo and it did well for a while but 2 sl's in a row made me stop using it. A sl ends up being between 15-30% to earn a basket total of a much smaller amount. I think it was set to tp around $7 or something like that.

Other noteworthy thing, this ea targets pairs that are in a downtrend. What if the trend changes? blown account or severe loss.

I have been reluctant to start a thread on paraswing only because it has beena net loser so far. maybe I'll start a thread anyway just to post my results. I've been running it since 10.14.2011 and as of right now it is down almost $1500 on a 10k demo.

Guys I will be testing a new ea next week. Very exciting! I have been in communication with the developer and he is by far the most transparant ea developer I have ever met.

Honestly he raises the standard in this industry. Having said that his ea looks very good and I will be testing it live here.

From what I understand he will be limiting the release to only 300 copies and the price will be very reasonable. I don't think it is a marketing ploy. I think her really wants to preserve the integrity of his strat.

Many of you know ea's like million dollar pips started out great and lost profitability. Well a big part of that is to many people trading it. I know forex is between 3-4 trillion dollars a day being traded but even still the retail brokers are much smaller and they do experience liquidity issues especially during off hours.

By limiting the release the developer will preserve profitablilty and avoid liquidity issues.

Stay tuned for more info

Johnny you have inspired me again to start looking at investing in the forex. I'll be anxiously awaiting your information on the new EA, of course then I'd have to decide which EA I want to try. Also looking at Smart FX Technology and Magic Champ 2 based on your results.

May I ask which VPS service you use?

Hey Seamonkey,
Welcome to forexmoments.com

I'm glad you feel inspired. Forex can be an amazing source of income but it is hard work.

Right now I am running Thrustvps on there UK server.

As for ea's you can't go wrong with smartfx. MC-2 is awesome to and I feel really optimistic about them however my testing is in it's enfancy so I can't recommend them yet. BUT I do expect they will live up to my expectation. I try not to get emotional and when an ea is doing great I try to keep my expectations reasonable.

I will say that MC-2 does have me feeling very hopeful. Out of all the ea's I test there can be so many bombs and it is important that I am honest with myself. BUT sometimes an ea comes along and it is just plain profitable. I can say that MC-2 is off to a good start.

SmartFX has been very reliable and stable and there is no better customer support period! Robert and his team will do whatever it takes to make sure you are up and running and that all of your settings are correct. They will even do a remote session with you to go through your ea's and settings and stuff. They are constantly working and testing different settings. Overall I do recommend them.

These are my two favorites right now.

I am also running Forex Growth Bot again. I have a love hate relationship with this ea, but I find in the longrun this ea does really well. In August, September FGB took a beating and I shut her down but some friends of mine are running her live and there results have been really good lately so I thought I would take her out of retirement with small lots and see how she does.

As for my new ea I am testing, it is called BlackBelt EA. I plan to start a thread this weekend.

Anyway I'll shut up now

Talk to you later,
John
