I've been with MIG for 2 months now (having moved from Alpari UK) on the recommendation of an EA author I use. MIG is an ECN, so fills and spreads are dependent on liquidity. NB, you get a better deal for large lot size. Setting up the account was relatively easy, but to comply with Swiss law one needs to send a copy of one's passport, signed by a notary, and you need to apply to use EAs. Scalping is very difficult using stop or limit entries, as the Minimal Distance Level is 5 pips. Funds are not segregated. Minimum lot size is 0.1.
